Infusion Services

For patients who require frequent infusions of medications, this outpatient service provides a comfortable atmosphere for infusion patients requiring close observation and monitoring of medications, blood levels and other conditions with one-on-one nursing.

Services Provided

  • Peripherally-inserted central catheters (PICC lines) maintenance
  • Administration of blood products
  • Administration of IV iron products, including Venofer and Feraheme
  • IV fluid administration for hydration
  • Immunoglobin administration
  • Phlebotommy/lab specimens
  • IV medications and antibiotic administration
  • Administration and patient teaching of IM and Sub Q injections including:
    • Lovenox, Prolia, Neulasta, Neupogen, B-12 Allergy shots, Avonex, and Aranesp
  • Vascular access device maintenance – MediPort, central lines
  • Port access and maintenance
  • Dressing changes
