Babysitting is more than a way to earn money. When you are asked by a neighbor, friend or relative to watch their child, you are being given a job that carries a big responsibility.
As a babysitter, parents trust you with their child’s life. Your main responsibility is to care for a child’s needs and keep the child safe. You can prepare yourself for these challenges by completing our babysitting course.

- Sitter qualities
- Be a good guest
- As they grow: Ages and stages
- Before saying “yes” to a job
- When a stranger calls
- House rules and routines
- Fire
- Diapering
- Feeding for infant/toddlers
- Burping a baby
- Crying
- Preparing for bed
- Behavior problems/discipline
- First aid and CPR
Class date will be announced at a later time
Limited to the first 20 registered students. Boys and girls ages 11-14 are welcome to participate.
