BCHC Community Blood Drive, June 23rd at Independence Senior Center

The Buchanan County Health Center Community blood drive will take place on Tuesday, June 23rd from 12:00-5:30 pm at the Independence Senior Center located at 400 5th Ave NE in Independence. The blood drive will be facilitated by Lifeserve Blood Center, the sole supplier of community based blood products to BCHC.

Currently, there is a need for all blood types for the summer months. All donors are encouraged to donate to help maintain a consistent supply of all blood types.

Please consider giving the gift of life to your friends and family across the county. Blood donation is safe and takes about an hour to complete. Interested donors may schedule an appointment by calling 800-287-4903 or by visiting ww.lifeservebloodcenter.com.
