BCHC Specialty Clinic to welcome Dr. Charles Pruchno and the Health Transitions Clinic of PCI
BCHC is pleased to welcome Charles Pruchno, MD, FACP and the Health Transitions Clinic at Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa to its rotation of specialty services and providers.
A graduate of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Pruchno completed his residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, and fellowship at the University Of Washington School Of Medicine. Dr. Pruchno is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Pruchno specializes in internal medicine; medically-supervised weight loss, and management of chronic diseases.
Dr. Pruchno with the Health Transitions Clinic will provide patients with a medically-supervised weight loss program to help those who are overweight and dealing with medical issues that accompany the condition including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, high cholesterol, back pain, heart disease, osteoarthritis, depression, and GERD.
The Health Transitions Clinic will be offering a free seminar to the public on Wednesday, May 9th from 6-7pm in Meeting Rooms A&B at BCHC. This free seminar will provide attendees with information about how the program works, and will also allow for Q&A with Dr. Pruchno.
