BCHC Wellness Center to Hold First Aid Training and Health Care Professionals CPR Course
On Thursday, August 20th, the Wellness Center at BCHC will hold a first aid class, followed by a health care professionals CPR course. Beginning at 1:00pm, the first aid class will teach students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. Immediately following, at 2:00pm, a CPR course will be held for health care professionals in need of CPR training or re-certification, as well as other lifesaving skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. The cost to attend the first aid class is $20. The cost to attend the CPR course is $40. To register, contact the Wellness Center at 319-332-0850. Reservations are required by August 19th.
