Pre-Diabetes Information and Support Group
Buchanan County Health Center will offer a Pre-Diabetes Information and Support Group on Thursday, July 10, beginning at 5 p.m. in the meeting rooms at the hospital.
Diabetes has become an epidemic in the United States with as many at 30 percent of the population contracting the disease. Come and find out what you can do to reverse this disease process and lower your chances of heart, artery and kidney complications in the future.
The BCHC Pre-Diabetes Team includes Maxine Kehret, registered, licensed dietician, Cindy Horn, RN, certified diabetes educator, and Stacy McMahon, director of the wellness center.
