Pre-Diabetes Support Group set for 9/18
Buchanan County Health Center will offer a Pre-Diabetes Information and Support Group on Thursday, September 18th, beginning at 5 p.m. in the meeting room B at the hospital.
If your fasting blood glucose is from 100 to 125 or your A1c is 5.7 to 6.4% you have Pre-Diabetes.
Diabetes has become an epidemic in the United States with as many at 30 percent of the population contracting the disease. It is not too late! Come and find out what you can do to reverse this disease process and lower your chances of heart, artery and kidney complications in the future.
