Radiology Department at East Buchanan

Thank you to Buchanan County Health Center Radiology Department members for helping to raise the awareness of early detection in the fight against breast cancer. Peg Hoffman, Katie Perry and Julie Till were on hand for the October 9th East Buchanan Volleyball game to share their insight and expertise.

About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Mammography screening is still the best line of defense. Financial assistance for screenings  is available to women who qualify.
