BCHC to Offer Health Care Provider Initial Certification Courses
The Wellness Center at the Buchanan County Health Center will be offering American Heart Association Health Care Provider Initial Certification Courseson:
- Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 8 a.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m.
The course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Classes are approximately 2 hours in length. The cost is $38 and includes the course, certification cards, and the CPR pocket masks. CPR/AED/First Aid books are an additional $14 and extra CPR masks are $10 each. Pre-registration is required – call 332-0850 today!
