BCHC Announces Promotion of Michelle McBride to Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Buchanan County Health Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Michelle McBride to Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Michelle joined BCHC in 2014, where she has served as Public Relations Manager, coordinating marketing and public relations initiatives, community engagement, and internal and external communications and events. She has also provided valuable support to the BCHC Auxiliary as its hospital liaison and to the Buchanan County Health Trust as a board member.
“Michelle has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, creativity, and a deep commitment to BCHC and the communities we serve,” commented BCHC’s CEO, Wade Weis. “Her ability to build meaningful relationships, support our teams, and connect strategy with execution has elevated our communication efforts and strengthened our organization. Michelle’s collaborative approach and dedication to doing what is best for BCHC continue to make a meaningful impact.”
In her expanded position, Michelle will play a key role in supporting BCHC’s strategic initiatives, helping to align communication, marketing, and community engagement efforts with organizational priorities. Her leadership will be instrumental as BCHC continues to strengthen its brand, enhance patient and employee experiences, and ensure consistent, clear communication across all areas of the organization.
Michelle resides in Independence with her husband, Travis, and their three sons, Ethan (9), Luke (5), and Will (1). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her community, performing music with her husband, and cheering on her children at sporting events.
