BCHC Announces Promotion of Shellie Cabalka BSN, RN to Employee Health & Wellbeing Manager
Buchanan County Health Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Shellie Cabalka, BSN, RN, to Employee Health & Wellbeing Manager.
Shellie joined BCHC in 2024 as the Employee Health & Wellbeing Coordinator. Since that time, she has played an integral role in advancing the health, safety, and wellbeing of BCHC staff through a variety of initiatives, including safety programming, education and training, policy development, and procedural support.
“Shellie has made a positive impact across the organization for the betterment of our staff, patients, residents, and visitors,” said Angel Decker, Executive Director of Senior Operations. “We are excited to have Shellie step into this expanded leadership role and continue to grow our employee health and wellbeing program.”
Shellie resides in Manchester with her husband, Jay, and their two children, Nova (6) and Maverick (4). In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors at ballparks, taking neighborhood walks, and going on side-by-side rides.
