
Community Members Invited to Open House at Buchanan County Health Center’s Senior Life Solutions
Community members are invited to join the Senior Life Solutions program for an open house at Buchanan County Health Center on Thursday, May 8th from 1-3pm. Located inside BCHC’s Medical Office Building in Independence, all are welcome to come and learn about this new outpatient program at BCHC for aging adults.
Kristie Putz RN, Program Director of Senior Life Solutions, said, “This event is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about our program to come see our space, learn more about the services we provide, and meet our dedicated staff.”
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the program facility and ask questions while enjoying light refreshments. Senior Life Solutions program is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals typically 65 and older experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes that are often associated with aging.
The program staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, a registered nurse, a licensed therapist, and other trained professionals focused on helping older adults in the community navigate difficult life transitions and regain their quality of life.
Putz, said, “We look forward to meeting members of our community on May 8th from 1:00-3:00pm and for the opportunity to help those struggling to improve their quality of life through our services.”
