The Auxiliary Welcomes Nancy Elliott as New Gift Shop Buyer
The Buchanan County Health Center Auxiliary recently welcomed Nancy Elliott as Gift Shop Buyer. Here she receives the keys from Mary Kay Miller, who has generously served as Buyer for several years. The Gift Shop, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, is fully staff by volunteers. Approximately 55 members volunteer some of their time each month to keep the doors open. Together they raise approximately $7,500 annually which funds the work of the Auxiliary including six $1,000 scholarships to Buchanan County students pursuing a health care career.
