Buchanan County Health Center Welcomes Tony Fortmann to the role of Chief Financial Officer
Buchanan County Health Center (BCHC) is pleased to welcome Tony Fortmann, MHA, to the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Tony comes to BCHC with over 35 years of experience in healthcare finance and operations, most recently coming to BCHC from Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids where he has served as the accounting manager since 2007. Tony has also worked at Finley Hospital and Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Tony received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Dubuque, and his Master of Healthcare Administration from Walden University.
“I am pleased to welcome Tony to the BCHC family,” commented Wade Weis, CEO. “With his extensive experience in healthcare finance and proven leadership skills, I am confident that he will be an excellent addition to our culture of service to the community.”

Originally from Dubuque, Tony resides in Marion with his wife, Christina, daughters Ella and Maddy, and their dog and two cats. In his spare time, Tony enjoys traveling, woodworking, and working on projects around the house.
